The truth is working with data is like any skill, people with thousands of hours of experience in data science will look like magicians, but they too started with their first data point. We offer internships for students, secondments & trainings for data beginners in community groups, researchers, policy and decision makers. Having some general knowledge about how to use a computer is enough to get started in the world of data.
