Creating data tools and charts
RIDL creates data products including dashboards, infographics, visualisations, and detailed reports. The data products we build are easy to use and aesthetically pleasing – the value of the data cannot be unlocked. We work closely with all our clients and partners to ensure that the data we are bringing to life provides real meaning to their organisation and cause. We believe in a simple design aesthetic as user statistics tell us that ‘less is more’ when it comes to ensuring the threshold for uptake is as low as technically possible. At RIDL we are strong proponents of open-source solutions like R & Python. Using these industry-standard, open-source solutions allows us to quickly design, prototype and deploy holistic data solutions which are affordable and can be distributed widely without intimidating licensing costs. This also allows us to re-use code and data analysis work enabling us to provide services at a lower cost. We are delighted to see that many government agencies and industry leaders (Reserve Bank of Australia, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Royal Automobile Club of Queensland to name a few) are also embracing these open source solutions, so rest assured you are in good company.
